Te Whare Tane Services
Te Whare Tane is part of 4 A Better City Charitable Trust, a Hutt Valley based charity established in 2016. Our mission is to help bring greater awareness to, and reduce the effects of, family violence in our community. We hope to achieve this through working with men who have experienced family violence and who want support to deal with the root causes.

Te Whare Tane have a counsellor who has extensive experience working with family harm. We understand that families can experience a sense of concern and anxiety when conflict and harm are present in the home.
Te Whare Tane want to provide a circuit breaker to these feelings. Our respite room gives men an opportunity to pause, take a breath, and consider how to navigate the future.
