Hutt Valley Community Housing needs property investors and existing landlords in the Hutt Valley area to provide the properties we use for transitional housing.
We understand that owning property is a significant investment, and that landlords want certainty that their property will be well maintained and looked after, while also having rents paid regularly. That’s why we offer a comprehensive management package.
What we offer our landlords
FREE Property Management
We will manage your property with no management fee or commission charged on rents collected. Your property will be managed to a professional standard, meeting your insurance requirements. HVCH have 30+ years experience in managing rental properties, so your property is in good hands with us.
Guaranteed Rent
Due to our relationship with MSD we are able to guarantee you a set weekly rental, regardless of whether there is a tenant in the property or not.
Repairs Covered
As part of our team we have quality tradesman who will handle repairs and general maintenance at competitive prices.
Regular Communication
You will receive regular communication and detailed inspection reports regarding your property.
Well Supported Tenants
Each resident is assigned a support worker who visits regularly (generally weekly). They will work alongside an experienced professional team to ensure that each person is receiving the right support throughout their time with HVCH. Support might include assisting people with getting a drivers license, connecting them with health services or providing education on how to be a considerate tenant.

What kind of properties are we looking for?
We are looking for all types of properties to be used as part of our Transitional Housing program including one bedroom units, apartments, two bedroom flats or houses and stand-alone houses. Two bedroom properties on the flat of Lower Hutt are particularly sought-after at present.
